This recipe is quite a bit off my
beaten path, right? I developed it trying to get together some keto recipes to
throw into my repertoire… and if I’m being totally honest, it was also to
satisfy a serious casserole craving the likes of which I’ve never experienced

So, in case you are wondering if I
lost my mind – the answer, after eating this, is most assuredly not today, son! I have outdone myself!
The thinly sliced and roasted turnips
work perfectly to give this a kinda lasagna-y vibe, and there’s so much flavor
in this dish, it got mad rave reviews. Expect for people to ask for this recipe!
Nick has already requested that I
make another double batch, and you won’t find me complaining about it! I think
this would be great for a pot luck, or just to get some crazy delicious batch
cooking out of the way.
I had forgotten how much I love sour cream. Snowville Creamery, which is a local dairy farm, makes the most amazing crème fraiche, and I refuse to use any other brand. If you’re lucky enough to live in an area with a retailer carrying this brand, I highly recommend checking out their products!
